I am currently working on a minimal version of knoppix, with a couple of custom security tools.
I want to remove most of the entries in the start menu. This can be done very simply by using the graphical KDE tool.
The problem is that after I make an iso of this remastered version and boot it, the start menu is the standard knoppix KDE start menu.
I tried copying the /home/root to /etc/skel in the chrooted env, with no result.
Are these start menu settings stored somewhere else? Or am i simply forgetting something?
My second attempt was to change the .menu / .directory and .desktop files. Again with no result...
ps: i'm using knoppix 4.0.2, with kde 3.4.1.
Many thanks in advance.
