Fixing GRUB after windows re-installing .... Help !

Hi all ..

I have a Hard disk installation of knoppix running fine .. and i really dont wanna loose it ..
I also have an XP running .. but i want to restore an image i made before .. as the windows is getting very slow ..
the image was created long before knoppix was installed .. ie .. after restoring this image the boot loader will be reconquored
by windows ,,

How to restore or reinstall the GRUB ..???


i read something about rescue disk and running boot=/dev/hda2 .. then typing Lilo ..

i wont restore the windows image until u tell me how to recover my knoppix .. i fell in love with it !
