Is it safe to delete whole /usr/share/doc ? or is it used by any program ?

you could delete it..

you will lose all help files from KDE and mozilla local start page and all licences and readme files and example scripts..

but if you don't need all that you can delete it. The system will still work and you will save on disk space.

It's another thing if you are legally allowed to delete those licences. But I'm no lawyer...

It has 180 MB, or I should say, it had ..

And what about /usr/share/man?, I guess it's the same situation, nothing vital in it, isn't it
