The CD goes through its normal booting process until it gets to the point where it scans for hard drive and partition info, and creates /etc/fstab.
The /etc/fstab part completes, but then my system will immediately go to a cursor and stop booting
The only way to get around it is to run in failsafe mode, which bypasses damn near everything, including my hard drive
I ran 'knoppix testcd' and it came back without any errors, it just always stops in that one spot.
Edit: Problem solved, i had to use the 'knoppix dma' cheatcode. (also, why cant we delete our own posts?)
