USB Flash Drive

Running knoppix on cd is very slow. It would be nice to have a usb flash drive with a bootable knoppix on it.

to boot Knoppix faster from a usb dongle or from the hdd...

USB drives are quite handy, but most older BIOS's don't support them.

My desktop PC bios for some reason stopped supporting booting from a USB drive. Here is the workaround that helped me run from my USB.

From ubuntu forum - also works for my knoppix USB boot drive - pretty slick
