No Internet after HD Install

Does ANYONE know why I lose my internet connections after doing an install.
Works just fine with LiveCD but disappears with HD install?????

I REALLY want to jump in and learn but I do need help.
Hopefully I'll be able to return the favors someday.

Just one of the many problems well known to exist when you try to install this intended-for-live-CD distro. Look at the oldest posts in this forum if you don't believe me.

After the HD Install, KNOPPIX does not configure your network for you. This is a security measure - it allows a user to setup firewall, antivirus, Internet Connection and/or fixed LAN IP address.

In the Menu, click KNOPPIX, Network/Internet, Network Card Configuration. Most people will answer Yes to the question "Use DHCP?". This is only required once after the HD install.
