Problem to start KDE after upgrade from KDE 3.5.2 -> 3.5.

Dear Sirs,

I suffer from a nasty problem, after upgrading my knoppix Hard Disk installation from KDE 3.5.2 to KDE 3.5.3.
Now each time that I trying to start KDE the normal start up process stops at Loading Desktop and still there. If you wait 2-3 minutes you will see nothing more than the screen wallpaper...

What do you think??

my experience with upgrading components of knoppix is that it is a big problem sometimes, like apt-get upgrade which is always a problem. Since there are no errors reported then the problem could be anything, wait for the next versions for upgraded components. Don't get me wrong, sometimes the upgrades work so experiment with the cd and persistent home first before tring on your hd install(but even then...). hope this helps in the future.
