Will it be possible to incude the eclipse IDE as one of the available development tools?
I know one needs JRE for it and eclipse needs a writable workspace directory, but maybe it wouldn't be so difficult.
IMHO that would make an excellent contribution to the Knopppix DVD.

The 5.0.1 DVD includes the eclipse 3.1.2-1 and this
java -version
java version "1.4.2_11"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_11-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_11-b06, mixed mode)

However, in the CD version it's download the latest (3.2) to the HD or remaster.
