Launch Konqueror and enter "media:/" in the address bar. Click on the drive icon that represents your NTFS partition. You should now see your music files.

Welcome new user. Knoppix is a Great Live CD, but as you are about to learn, not the best system for installing Linux to hard drive. It's a shame that you decided to install Knoppix without ever looking at any Linux intended for hard drive install, like Debian Etch (the Linux distro that Knoppix is based on).
I can't help with a Knoppix hard disk install. But normally Knoppix can read files from a NTFS partition just fine (it can't safely write to NTFS though). Is your problem accessing your NTFS drives something that just showed up after "installing" Knoppix, or does it exist with the Live CD too? You don't have thos NTFS partitions encryped under XP, do you?
