You could also try KMenu->System->KSysGuard
That can also be added to the panel at the bottom of the screen. (Right-Click on empty space and select "Add to Panel"->Applet->KSysGuard
Press F1 and adjust "width".gkrellm does some of this, though I find it a bit small
