Open a terminal.
Type the following: sudo wlcardconfig (press enter)
Then fill in all the information pertinent to your setup.
I have become interested in Linux and acquired the Knoppix 3.2 CD Rom from freewareCD's.com. This boots on my laptop Compaq Presario 12472 very nicely, but I cannot figure out how to get it to recognize my internet settings.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. My first attempt now with Linux.
