???Cable connection in knoppix??? how

I have Internet and LAN using a ROUTER internet is by the uplink port on the router. the internet is by Cable, how do i setup my LAN and Cble internet??? I'm a NEWBIE!!!

if your ISP and router support DHCP, then you can use that. Open up a terminal window, type sudo su, then pump. That should work.
