    knoppix 5.1 and problem with extra hdd (softraid problem???)

    I installed knoppix 5.1 on hdd by knoppix-installer script, after week
    i want connect second hard disk to computer an while knoppix booting i
    had this info: "mdadm: No suitable drives found for: /dev/md/0". I try passing
    raid by cheatcodes in grub adding "noataraid" and this not work. please help...

    ps. i noticed that other cheat codes didnt work when knoppix is installed on hdd, examople desktop=wmaker

    >title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.19 Default - noideraid
    >root (hd0,2)
    >kernel /boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda3 rw ramdisk_size=100000 lang=us apm=power-off nomce acpi=off noapic vga=791 desktop=wmaker nopcmcia nofirewire noideraid nousb nousb2

    Alot of the cheatcodes are broken by HD install.... but some still do work.

    I think I have fixed this issue on other machine by disabling APM all together (not really needed if ACPI is active anyways from what I understand)..

    pass the noapm cheatcode the the kernel and see if that solves your problem

    Also....the following boot flags have no relevance to a HD install: rw ramdisk_size=100000 desktop=wmaker
