How to install under Knoppix

I do not manage to install KLIK under my Poor Man's -Knoppix installation. I tried the following code:

wget klik.atekon.de/client/install -O -|sh

After excecution, a pop-up message confirmed the successful installation, BUT then the KLIK website was opened and at the same time the following errors were displayed in the Knoppix root shell window:

"Error= "var/tmp/kdecache-knoppix" is owned by uid 1000 instead of uid 0.
Link points to "/var/tmp/kdecache-root"
...

Installation of any software is not possible.

What can I do?

It _should_ work anyway (despite the error message). Please try klik://xvier (a simple tiny application). If that works, klik does work in principle on your system.
