I think we either need a default option of searching the root of fixed disk for knoppix image and booting from it if found and automatically loading the persistent disk image.
If necessary, one simple parameter at the boot option should be created to do this. My fingers are growing tired of all the typing and then waiting for the persistent image prompt.
But I love it and will use it any way I get it. This is now my main OS.
