My internet will not work, I think because of a problem with the newer kernel and my older network card. I am on the computer right now, so obviously the net is able to work. I have my computer wired straight to router, and then router goes to wall. Strange thing is, it doesnt work in knoppix, but on my DSL livecd it works. DSL is based on knoppix, but still uses the older 2.4.x kernel.
In windows it says the network card is a CNet PRO200WL PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter.
Here are some of the different things that may help.
dmesg - http://rafb.net/p/4uKp4t59.txt
lspci - http://rafb.net/p/sNsQhY93.txt
ifconfig(did with -a also) - http://rafb.net/p/UOjuAE71.txt
Please help Thanks.
