    how to configer internet (broadband) in DSL usb drive Linux

    it is knoppix project
    hi i have install Damn small linux in my usb drive, everything working ok but i can not use internet. i try to configer it my self but no sucess at all. and sound card is not working

    Laptop configration
    Dell inspiro
    Integrated 10/100 Fast Ethernet
    Internal 56K Modem
    integrated sound card.

    plzzz tell me how to configer sound card and internet(ethernet card).......

    • 1) Don't post the same post in multiple forums. Imagine how cluttered these forums would become if everone who wanted a response to their post stuck it in every forum. Pick a suitable forum based on the subject. If it is inappropriate in that forum a moderator will move it (or perhaps delete it, particularly if posted in multiple places). You other posts have been deleted, this one was moved to the hard disk install forum.

      2) DSL is not Knoppix, although it is based on Knoppix.

      3) Knoppix has lots of problems when installed. Has for many years. Networking failing is one of the most common on these. I don't know if that's true for DSL or not. Perhaps you should ask in a DSL forum, or simply install a distro intended for hard disk, such as Debian.
