Hi there,
I have a few questions and if you guys can help me it would be much appreciated
1. I have a 250 gb USB HDD that i would like to install knoppix or debian on. But, my bios is kind of old and it won't allow me to boot from USB. Is it still possible to do an HDD install?
2. My HDD is about half full of misc data. Can i still partition it for the linux install safely without losing data. I'll back it up before hand of course.
3. Also, is it worth it to try and update my bios to accomidate the usb boot?
