Hi everyone, I've been used Knoppix before to recover data from PCs and its always been kind to me. I've come across a MacBook Pro today, which is no longer booting up OS X, so I decided why not give Knoppix a shot. It loaded up and looks to be working fine. I cant locate the harddrive though. I found that to mount it, I need to follow these commandsWhen I try to mount /dev/sda, it tells me that special device /dev/sda2 does not exist. Am I not doing something right in attempting to load it, or is the hd just so dead that it cant be detected?sudo mkdir /mnt/mac
mount -t hfsplus /dev/sda2 /mnt/mac
cd /mnt/mac
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advacem
