I have only recently disacovered Linux and am enjoying using the Knoppix CD as an operating system, having had seriously bad experiences with all types of Windows and Gates. But if I am to set up a new and more secure Linux system then is there Linux software to enable me to write music as midi files equivalent or better than Cakewalk or Symphony? Any advice would be welcome!
