Knoppix to create Windows XP Image? DD or ntfsClone or what?
We are looking for a way to use a free Linux distro to create images of classroom PC's running Windows XP.
Someone suggested DD... Disk Duplicate command... I think
Someone else suggested ntsfClone
Does Knoppix come with ntsfClone or could it be put on the CD with Knoppix?
Any suggestions on how to do this would be very helpful as we are not Linux experts here.
Thanks.

I'm posting from PCLinuxOS at the moment but with your live knoppix disk setup your network (may already be active if you have a router and are set to dhcp) then from a terminal type:
sudo apt-get install ntfsclone
man ntfsclone
for the help page. You will need basic linux knowledge to use any recovery tool in knoppix.
