    /usr/bin/ucf: getopt command problem

As part of a remaster I need to install the Debian package gconf2-common. Using apt-get install gives:

    Setting up gconf2-common (2.20.1-2) ...
/usr/bin/ucf: line 330: getopt: command not found

and installation fails. Can anyone please help on this?
