Hi!
ich soll für die Arbeit verschiedene Linux Distributionen testen und vergleichen.
zu Anfang dachte ich, da ich mich noch nicht gut mit Linux allg. auskenne, fange ich mal mit Knoppix an, weil man es eben nicht installieren muss.
also habe ich mir das Image runtergeladen und auch "richtig" auf eine CD gebrannt (also nicht das Image sondern die Dateien)
dann habe ich meinen PC im BIOS auf "boot from CD-ROM" eingestellt, die CD rein, neu gestartet und dann... "nichts"
dann dauerts ein bisschen und dann zeigt er an, dass er kein Betriebssystem findet.... obwohl bei booten einzig und allein "CD-ROM" eingestellt ist...
dann habe ich es mal mit Ubunte gestestet... auch nichts
aber mit einer Win98 CD funktioniert es einwandfrei... an was kann das liegen, dass es nicht mit den Linux-CD's geht??
