Help with HCF Modem !

Can anyone point me in the right direction to installing and getting my modem to work?

I'm new to this linux stuff so, my learning curve is'nt very steep at the moment. Anyhelp would be appreciated ! (webpages on howto's)

Which modem? More info, please. Many modems are Winmodems, and have mixed results under Linux. Check your Device Manager for at least SOME details on your hardware.

Got another modem today an external Smartlink 5634TS and it's working
fine even connected to the net so, my learning curve has started to bend a little !
