Next Knoppix release

I would like to know if new version of knoppix will be released this year or we'll have to manage with 5.3.1

on the debian-knoppix list at lists.debian.org, Klaus has mentioned that the next release will be a CD/USB version

and will be called Knoppix 6.0

it is best not to guess when it will be released because any guess would almost certainly be wrong

Now this is interesting and news worthy. If you can post this again and include a link to the Klaus post, I'll gladly move that post to a new article in the news forums. And past experience says that you are right about not giving a date, even if Klaus does propose giving one. It will be out when it is out, and very likely not when it is expected to be out.

no chance at all mate, your going to need at least 16G, there will be no stopping Klaus now.
