hello all,

i have recently installed knoppix onto my tecra 520cdt, it sports a 20gb HD ,160Mb, 166Mhz MMX CPU and DVD drive. The live CD enabled DMA, but then rebooting from the HD install the DMA has been turned off? any ideas where this should be enabled?
also when in the KDE desktop the HDA1 (8Gb) will not mount properly and shows read only, but my other partitions HDA3 (5GB) and HDA4 (5Gb) are accessible and RW is enabled BTW(HDA2 is my swap 2Gb)
any ideas?
i assume i edit the HDParm area? or in bootmisc.sh
