Modem install ?
Is it possible to run a Modem just using Knoppix 3.2 CD?
Will I have to do a full HD install in order to use my modem?
Is it possible to install driver to make my modem work?

Re: Modem install ?
Well Dave,
the answer is definitely YES provided your modem is a standard modem i.e. it relies on standard AT&T set of commands and this is the case of almost every external modem I guess.
Things are a little more difficult if you have a non standard (winmodem) modemcard installed for which there are workarounds (and drivers)
You can visit the relevant posts on the Hardware section as well as the linuxant page herebelow
http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/
Hope this helps
Pieter
