    system error message

    i have a windows xp home edition on my laptop and would this work on fatal system errors if i have this program and will it get past the fatal system error and will it stop any others from happening

    If you have fatal Windows XP errors then you will almost certainly need to repair, reinstall, or reformat and reinstall your Windows XP installation.

    However, before you do this Knoppix will allow you to boot your PC and access your hard disk to recover and backup your data to CD/DVD.

    demon1982, just a quick note: while Knoppix should allow you to copy files from your hard disk you may want to avoid making changes to the files in NTFS, sometimes that causes problems.
