How can i get knoppix 5.3.0 (the DVD i've here) or later startet without AHCI enabled in BIOS?

It's a generally question. I work on different PC of different people. Most there is AHCI disabled (SATA-Controller in "Legacy Mode"). I will not everytime enable AHCI to boot Knoppix and later disable AHCI to boot XP/Vista.

It makes no sense to reinstall all XPs/Vistas with AHCI-enabled only for that.

Trys with bootoptions failsafe, expert, noacpi, nolapic, noapic didn't help.

Any suggestions?
