installing kde 4.2 on knoppix 6.0.1

can I get some pointers on installing kde 4.2 on knoppix? i tried apt-get -f install kde-full i get an unmet dependencies message.

Try aptitude install kde-full and see if you live with any of the suggested solutions. If you want to run a live CD that has kde4, take a look over at distrowatch as there is probably something that has Kde4 already installed as the desktop environmet.

thanks, aptitude install worked. I wonder why? anyway its installed but kdm doesnt start automattically
