First, I'm running on a Gateway 6214 laptop with 2GB RAM, using the the 6.2.0.DVD version copied to HD; my boot line is:
- knoppix fromhd=/dev/sda1 no3d
What I'd like is to have the boot mgmt. on the HD so I needn't keep a disc in the optical drive for reboot, and to not be forced to use the "suspend" option to pause the OS (hibernate simply wakes up w/o any input from me.) Anyone got a tip?
