Microsoft Office on Knoppix runs fine!

Hi all,

I thought this might interest some of you - Office XP runs just fine on Knoppix (persistent home) using Crossover Wine (there is a free 30 day trial) from www.codeweavers.com

Boots way faster than OpenOffice, and the compatibility problems are gone! Bye Windows forever!

I used / loved / bought / recommend Crossover as the best solution. However, be aware that you can "roll your own" solutions as described at

http://www.franksworld.net/wine/

Probably not recommended for the new users, and buying the Xover product supports a pretty sharp and needed Linux solutions provider.
