As we all know, knoppix does not do file system check on the /mnt-system file system. The /mnt-system is the file system which is the actual root filesystem for knoppix, it is where knoppix-data.img is sitting on. It can be vfat, ntfs, reiserfs and ext2/3/4 file system. But the minirt.gz is lacking all the necessary tools to do file system check on it.
Anyone feel that there is a need for it ? Has anything try to purposely switch off his laptop/notebook/desktop a few times to see if it is corruptable ?
