Touchpad moves randomly when scrolling

I am running Knoppix 6.4 on my HP mini 110 3606tu. Whenever I try to scroll using two fingers, the mouse starts moving randomly on the screen. This does not happen with fedora 16 or ubuntu 11.10.

Have you tried to configure your touchpad by using the program synclient?

man synclient

and

synclient -l

should help you further.
