I mean, I know you need security from the many bot-transmitted spam attacks but could you have a little mercy for those of us Real Humans who have difficulty seeing?

craigslist adds the option to hear a character string if Capcha images are unreadable, (which is frequently) but other sites only offer the image file.

It angers me to the point that I curse so loudly and frequently that, if there is such a place as Purgatory, I'll not get out until 5 minutes before the end of eternity.

Also if I get the characters wrong, as I did three times in a row for this forum, the form resets and I lose the password and the checkbox "agree to terms and conditions", both of which clear automatically and I have to re-enter them.
