Greetings, Gondarc.
Spell check works ok in my 6.7.1 LO-writer.
On both USB and HD based vanilla 6.7.1 installs, the spellcheck in Libre Office does not seem to be working. First sign was no wavy red underline under mis-spelled words with Auto-Spellcheck enabled, then I found that selecting a manual check had no effect. The spell-check screen comes up but doesn't do anything with the highlighted word ... no offer of alternatives, merely a message that the "spellcheck is complete". Is this a bug in Libre Office or Knoppix, or is it something to do with display limitations in LXDE?

OK, think I have it ... vanilla install is for lang=en ... which is US English ... and I have boot set for lang=uk. Although the languages setting in LO shows US for the display its reading UK for the default document settings ... although the settings show Hunspell as active, there is no British English dictionary ... and the one available in the Knoppix repository listing is too old to install with LO 3.4.x. Have Linux Magazine DVD for KX7.0 ... time to reinstall.
