Since Knoppix 7.0 is a live DVD you should only have to perform a reboot via the menu and remove the DVD from your drive while the system's BIOS tests are running. The newer Knoppix 7 versions are unable to eject the DVD at shutdown time.
Apologies for what follows:
I am very new to using Linux and thought using a Knoppix 7.0 live DVD would be a great way to start using the shell to learn Linux commands. Unfortunately I don't know how to safely get back to windows 7. Can anybody help this Nooby?
