init 2, and some other issues in knoppix 7x

Unable to 'init 2' from within the graphical environment.

Other issues that occur sometimes are in:

1. akgregator closing error (seems solved in 7.0.4)
2. /etc/init.d/syslogd - restart error (once full fledged syslog.conf in enabled)
3. wvdial connect error (seems solved in 7.0.4)
4. GPicView (Image Viewer) - scroll issue with full/original size for large image (keypress G)
5. telinit 2 (same as init 2 )
