nobody with an explanation???
Hello,
i have made a usb stick (8 gigs) with the knoppix cd version (7.0.5).
i have allocated the remaining 6.7 gigs (maximum size that was available) for persistance at first boot on the stick. when i type the command df -h in the console it shows taht i have only 2.7 gig free , i have only installed a flshplayer, python3.3 and audacious. these programs couldn`t be more the lets say 100mb. why do i have so little free space or what is using up the free space??
nobody with an explanation???

there you go
If you use Flash disk installation of Knoppix, the maximum size for persistent memory is 4 GB - except when you select experimental version. The line at '/dev/loop0...' shows you your persistent memory.i have allocated the remaining 6.7 gigs (maximum size that was available) for persistance at first boot on the stick.
right... everything adds up now. ok thanx
