I installed Knoppix on HD. The installation is successful. The reboot after install works fine. Subsequent restart throws message;
udevd: inotify_add_watch error /dev/sda1 no such file or directory
udevd: inotify_add_watch error /dev/sda2 no such file or directory
/dev/sda1 is the swap space and /dev/sda2 is the Knoppix installation. Knoppix boots up properly without any issue showing desktop.
I am puzzled if udevd is not able to fine the /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2, how and why does Knoppix desktop comes up properly?
