change monitor Dissolution on HDD Installation - but how ?
How can i change my Dissolution of my monitor ?
I mean i don't want to have 1024x768 with 60HZ !!!!
My monitor could display 1152x846 with 85HZ !!
So how can i change and save this Dissolution ?

Try running
xf86cfg
as root. (Have your video card and monitor details at hand and back up your current XF86 config -- almost certainly /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 first). No absolute guarantee that XF86 will drive your monitor at that resolution and that refresh rate, though!
