I have just tried to use this latest version with my Mobile Broadband dongle, but Knoppix will not recognize it.
I have been using version_7.0.4 and that is fine;
I just click on the network icon in the taskbar and then in the arising sub-menu I click on the entry for the dongle and follow the wizard's instructions.
However, version_7.4.2 never produces an entry for the dongle in the sub-menu.
Is this a known bug or is the setup procedure now different to that in version_7.0.4 & if so what is it now?

The output of lsusb for version_7.0.4 is:
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E398 LTE/UMTS/GSM Modem/Networkcard
