How to suppress/hide knoppix boot messages?

Currently I am booting the Knoppix in text/command line mode and I would like to know whether there exist a way to disable/hide displaying of boot messages.

Try to add the kernel parameters quiet and splash in syslinux.cfg to hide messages.
