Booting knoppix via RS232 terminal
Hello,
My CPU (Intel's ATOM) does not have a VGA, only RS232.
Is it possible to boot knoppix from RS232 ?
Thank you,
Z.V

I think you have to provide more information - but if it basically means that you have only text mode available, that should in principle work fine - just use the appropriate init level. But even basic RS232 support may be scarce nowadays, not to mention using it for display??? I suggest you ask on the Debian-knoppix mailing list.

Hello,
I think you have to configure the bootloader to communicate via serial port. I would also suggest you add a line to /etc/inittab which enables you to login via serial port.
