Where is the page of former releases 5.3 7.2 -ttopp

hey all, I just received a note from my nephew... tried to turn him on to knoppix and... he says he clicked on download with bit torrent and went off to a wiki page... he says he returned and tried to find the 'free' downloads but clicked on so many wrong links that he swore and said thwi. what's up? 'from zero to knoppix in ...going on a half hour isn't so funny. it's embarrassing. And where are the older versions? thank you for this time. -ttopp

Just to add to that a bit, the torrents are faster and much more reliable than the direct downloads. Even if you don't know how to use a torrent download client is is well worth taking just a few minutes to install one and get started that way. If you do insist on using the direct downloads then it is imperative that you check the md5 checksum after downloading (which you likely don't know how to do either if you don't know how to download from torrent).

If you are an English speaker, download the version with EN in the name. Versions with DE in the name default to German.

The ADRIANE versions are intended for vision impaired.

Older versions of Knoppix can be difficult to find, we know of no archive of all Knoppix versions.

Verifying of md5 checksum and burning a CD at slow speed are important.
