The best solution that I have found to this with a live Linux DVD is version 17.x of Linux Mint (Version 18.x does not have built-in media support). The last supported version of Linux Mint was 17.3, hopefully you can still find it.
Is it possible to watch CBS streaming on my Knoppix laptop? I went to www.CBS.com, but to watch, I got tangled up with Flash required - not sure of the status of this on linux. Just for fun, I went to Google Play and searched for the CBS streaming app that I run on my Android tablet. It said "Installed". Is this incorrect or is the CBS streaming app preinstalled with Knoppix 7.7 ? What is the best way to watch TV with Knoppix? Thanks.
