(Tried to post this before - it disappeared?)

Cannot set the keyboard layout to use in a text editor.

Have Knoppix 7.7 installed on a USB stick and it works fine, except for the keyboard layout which doesn't work in an editor (or anywhere).

Have tried to change the settings of lang to lang=da (Danish) in 3 cfg files:
syslinx64.cfg (I have 64 bit)
syslinx32.cfg
syslinux.cfg
(as I remember them).

Have also tried to enter
knoppix lang=da
at boot (F2).

But none of all this works. Well, some of the menus have come in Danish, but entering text is not with the right keyboard layout.

Can you help?
