Running Firebird

Hello,

I've remastered Knoppix with the Firebird Browser (Phoenix). I am able to use it as root but not as the user "knoppix". I get an segmentation fault. Any ideas ?

i made an strace and figured out that firebird needs a 666 permission for /dev/zero. otherwise it won't run..hmprf...
