burn image

I have burned the knoppix image with nero, nero warned me that unless i closed the cd after burning(msg.' let nero close the cd after burning) there wouldnt be enough space on the cd-rom.
I pressed no, because i thought that cd wouldn't be accessible anymore when i do this.
Is that how its done or do i need to close the cd after burning.
Nero burned the image anyway.
P.s I used a 700 mb cd-recordable.

You'll need to close the image after writing. On a 700Mb CDR you aren't going to have a whole lot left anyway so no point keepng open.
