Hello.

while reading slashdot today during my normal beer & candy regimen, i came across an article about this new Lindows WebPC thingamabob. sounds neat.

reading through the comments i found a few mentions of Knoppix. i'd never heard of it, but figured i'd take a gander. i found you guys in the process. i read a bit and like the idea. so i figure, i have so many damn computers lying around and in storage that're doing absolutely nothing i might as well put one to good use.

i just finished dl'ing the newest version of knoppix (3.2). i've never used Linux before.

Glad you found Knoppix. Come back and post questions (and check the forums) if you run into issues.

u probably want a clusterknoppix and convert those pc lying around in to a nice big cluster.
